  • how to book a class?
to start, we will be *dropping* classes at prime times for everyone to book on our instagram account. once you see a class you like, click on the link on our story or go to our website to fully book your spot! if you reply to our instagram story — that is NOT securing your reservation. (unless you have received a reply from us & booked online) you still need to book & pay through the website. we highly recommend you pre-book for classes this way as spots are limited. all classes are first come, first serve and walk-ins more often will not be able to reserve a spot (but it is still possible)!
  • what can i expect for my first time in the studio?
for your first time at homebody -— you can expect a warm, comfortable environment that prioritizes everyone feeling welcome! please arrive at least 15 minutes early as you will need to sign a waiver form, and to give you enough time to settle into your spot! this is important as we do not want you to feel rushed before class.
  • i'm new to yoga & pilates, which classes should I try first?
all of our classes are from beginner to advanced. our instructors will show moderations for all skill levels so you can choose any class that you want! some suggestions, gentle, restorative + relaxation, any pilates!
  • what should I wear & bring to class?
we recommend wearing comfortable active wear and bringing your own mat, and water bottle. please fill your water before attending as we do not (currently) have any filtered water in studio. we do have mats that are available to rent if you need. in our bathroom, we do have a small selection of accessories/hygiene items that you are free to use if needed. all other props, weights, bands, etc will be provided by us!
  • how can I prepare for classes?
please come to the studio prepared for your class. we do not have designated change rooms as we are a smaller boutique studio. we do have a washroom if you do need to change quickly but please come early enough if that is your situation. come wearing comfortable active wear, with your mat, and filled water bottle. keep in mind that we do not have showers for after class. we do have some hygiene items in the bathroom if you need to use. we are not completely scent free but keep in mind that people can be sensitive to strong scents! *if you are very sensitive to scents, please let us know prior to class so we can make sure the space is comfortable for you as we do diffuse some essential oils*
  • what if i'm running late?
our late policy the studio gets locked 1 minute before class is scheduled to start. this means you will not be able to come into the studio after it's locked. although, we would love to make exceptions, other attendees deserve to practice in an uninterrupted space. for many, classes are an escape and a time for self-care, we want to create a very respectful place for everyone. the studio opens half hour before the class is scheduled to start. you are more than welcome to check-in at that time and secure your spot in class!
  • cancellation + refund policies
if you cannot attend your class that you've booked, please remove yourself online from the class asap as we often have people on our waitlist. you can remove yourself from the class up until 2 hours before the scheduled start time. if you cannot attend within those 2 hours, please reach out to us as quickly as possible so we manually remove you from our end and the next person can take your spot. if you cancel before the 2 hour window, you will not be charged a late fee, if you need to cancel in the 2 hour window, there will be a $10 charge to your card. there will be some exceptions for emergencies! all booked classes are non-refundable. if the studio needs to cancel your class, you will get a class credit on your account for a makeup class of your choice.
  • do you rent your space?
yes! we loooove to host you. you can rent out our space for private classes + other events. please reach out to us at hellohomebodystudio@gmail.com with your ideas and we can discuss everything :)
  • where can i park?
you can park in any spots directly in front of our unit and behind the building for free. if there are no spots available, you can park across the street in the public parking lot.
  • can i film in the studio?
short answer -— yes! we welcome you to film yourself (& friends if applicable) in our space. however, please check your camera before you start filming to ensure no other participants and/or staff members are in your video unless they say it's okay. most of our staff are okay with being in videos but consent is very important! if there is time before/after class, you can stay to film content but please ask staff to ensure there is enough time :)
